When Concordia purchased 40 acres - the West Campus - adjacent to their existing campus, it was time to design a plan to knit the two campuses together and plan for growth in enrollment and facilities. The new Master Plan gives physical form to the Strategic Plan for Concordia College. It fulfills the goal to invest in a distinctive and appealing campus that enhances recruitment, retention and the learning/living environment while connecting us to the community.
Centrally located between the east and west campuses, the Student Learning Center will knit the campus together. Other highlights include a new sports complex, an 800-seat auditorium, a community center will feature a bookstore, coffee shop, Parent-Child Enrichment Center and a center for the study of Civil Rights and theology. Parking will be moved to the perimeter creating a residential quad on the east campus.
