Our 1989 Master Plan and subsequent site improvements for Bridgewater College have resulted in a nearly 100% gain in enrollment, from approximately 800 students in 1989 to almost 1500 today. The Plan has also guided the placement and design of new residence halls, a new Science Center, entrance gates, plazas and planting. One of the most significant projects was the replanting of the central campus, The Mall, with over 225 Sugar Maples and White Ash.
Recent projects include improvements to the athletic precinct with a new parking lot, shade trees, reorganized tennis courts and a new tennis kiosk for tickets and refreshments. We are currently investigating other major improvements for this district including removing parking to create an athletic promenade for game-day events.
