Founded in 1980, Van Yahres Associates is an established campus design firm specializing in master planning and site design for colleges and universities. While we have concentrated almost exclusively on educational clients, our work has expanded to give us a regional and even national reputation.
Having completed over 700 educational projects, we have intentionally kept our staff focused to provide personal service to each one of our clients. Because of our commitment, we have worked continuously for over 10 years with many clients, including Bridgewater College, Hampden-Sydney College, Wright State University and Emory & Henry College. Due to our long-standing commitment to educational design, Mike Van Yahres, a partner in the firm, has spoken across the country at conferences for the Society of College and University Planning (SCUP) and The Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (APPA). For the past five years, Mike has taught at the APPA Institute, where he gives workshops on our campus master planning process and its importance to quality campus design.
